On the Basis of Saudi Claim, Tahir Ashrafi Begins Calling Yemenis Terrorists, Silence on Yemeni Martyrs

Shiite News: Chairman of the Saudi regime-supporting Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, in two statements issued on social media on the night of Friday, 30 October, based on the Saudi claim of an attack on Madinah Munawwarah, declared Yemen’s resistance movement Ansar Allah as “Houthi terrorists,” claimed that after Makkah Mukarramah, now Madinah Munawwarah has been targeted by a missile attack, and announced complete solidarity with the Saudi leadership and its defense institutions.

The same night, Ameer of Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith Pakistan Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar Ropri also shared his statement published on the official page of Rabita Alam-e-Islami (Muslim World League) in which Ansar Allah was called a “Houthi terrorist militia.” It is noteworthy that in the Saudi coalition’s own statements, only the claim of shooting down one drone each toward the Makkah and Madinah areas was made, whereas Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi presented it as a missile attack.

The Yemeni armed forces, rejecting as false the Saudi claim of downing a drone in the airspace of Madinah Munawwarah, have clarified that they did not carry out any operation against any target inside Saudi Arabia on Friday, and Sanaa has said before as well that Al Saud is using the name of the Haramain Sharifain to justify its aggression.

On the other hand, according to the Yemeni Ministry of Health, in those same 24 hours, 14 Yemeni civilians were martyred and 15 injured by Saudi aggression, including women and children, while the Yemeni armed forces released details of 93 Saudi aerial and missile attacks during the same period — but not a single word of condemnation came from the tongues of Saudi-friendly clerics regarding these oppressed martyrs. This narrative of declaring the oppressed Yemeni nation terrorists in the name of the Haramain Sharifain is the very same one being used by takfiri elements in Pakistan to spread sectarian hatred.
