The Iranian Nation Will Not Bow Before American Threats: Speaker of the Iranian Parliament

Shiite News: Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf has said that the Iranian nation will never bow before the military threats and pressure of American imperialism, and as long as America does not change its behavior and does not abandon its coercive and greedy approach, its claims carry no significance for the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Qalibaf said that Imam Khomeini (may Allah have mercy on him), while opposing the Capitulation Law, had exposed the deep connection between America and the Zionist regime, and today this connection has become far clearer than before. He said that Washington’s efforts to break the resolve of the Iranian nation through sanctions, targeted killings, military actions, and economic pressure are a continuation of this same hegemonic policy.

He said that the Iranian nation has broken the chains of slavery over the past 47 years, and today Iran is not a colony of the West or the East but a powerful and sovereign force in the region. Today’s Iran is not the Iran of the Pahlavi era but a strong fortress of self-confidence, defense capability, and steel resolve.

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament warned that Iran is ready to respond to any action against the integrity of its territory in a manner the enemy cannot even imagine, and threats of large-scale war or targeted killings cannot make the Iranian nation relinquish its rights and interests.

Qalibaf said that America has become stuck in a quagmire due to its wrong estimates and the war against Iran, and now the Americans themselves will have to take the necessary steps for their own salvation.
