12 Rabi al-Awwal: The Prophet’s Noble Life Is a Model for All Humanity, Says Allama Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, in his special message on the auspicious occasion of 12 Rabi al-Awwal and Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), said that the noble life and conduct of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) provide the best and most complete example for both the Muslim Ummah and all of humanity.

He emphasized that while Eid Milad-un-Nabi should be celebrated with enthusiasm, it is equally essential to seek guidance from the life and teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) for the practical implementation of Islam.

He said that the Prophet’s exemplary life calls upon Muslims to promote unity and solidarity in the light of the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH), address shortcomings in the existing system, and work toward transforming the country into a genuine welfare state.

Allama Sajid Naqvi stressed that since Muslims share the same God, Prophet, Quran, and Kaaba, differences in secondary religious matters should be addressed in a civilized and scholarly manner. He also called for complete avoidance of any disrespect toward the sacred figures and symbols revered by all schools of thought.

He urged the public and party workers to strengthen sectarian harmony and demonstrate unity in practice. He further said that sectarian elements must be made aware that they cannot undermine the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and that tolerance and mutual brotherhood would continue to be promoted at every level.
