Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan Says Palestine Must Not Become a Subject of Bargaining
Shiite News: Pakistan Rights Movement Chairman Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan strongly reacted to reports of a possible Saudi-Israeli agreement, stating that Palestine must never become a subject of political bargaining.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan urged Saudi Arabia to refrain from establishing relations with Israel or joining the Abraham Accords in exchange for a civilian nuclear deal. He said the Saudi government should avoid any compromise on the Palestinian position, firmly reject all pressure to recognize Israel or restore any form of relations, and play a more effective diplomatic role internationally in support of the Palestinian people.
He further stated that the struggle and rights of the Palestinian people must not be used as part of any economic or nuclear negotiations. He added that if Saudi Arabia moves toward normalizing relations with Israel, it would amount to a betrayal of the Palestinian cause.
