Iran Is the Land of Resistance, Peace, and Resilience, Says Hindu Leader Shri Swami Sarang

Shiite News: Shri Swami Sarang, President of India’s Global Peace Foundation and a Hindu religious leader, described Iran as the “land of resistance, peace, and resilience,” saying that the country has broken the illusion of the artificial dominance of global powers and demonstrated that it remains a center of spirituality and human values in today’s world.

Speaking during his visit to Iran to attend the funeral ceremony of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Shri Swami Sarang said that Iran has consistently avoided war and bloodshed while promoting humanitarian and moral values. He added that no country or global power can suppress human dignity, honor, and prosperity through sanctions or political pressure.

Referring to the event of Ashura, he said that Karbala is not merely a historical event but a universal humanitarian movement founded on justice, morality, and human values. According to him, the message of Imam Hussein (AS) continues to inspire freedom seekers and advocates of justice around the world.

Explaining why he walked barefoot in Iran, Shri Swami Sarang said it was an expression of his devotion to Imam Hussein (AS) and a tribute to the sacrifices made at Karbala. In his words, every step of this journey represented an act of worship and a renewal of his commitment to the humanitarian and divine message of Ashura.

The Hindu leader praised the Iranian people, saying that Iran is a nation with an ancient civilization, a rich culture, and a distinguished historical heritage. He stated that the Iranian people have demonstrated through their character and way of life that they are committed to preserving human dignity, spiritual values, and ethical principles.

He further said that the Iranian nation symbolizes steadfastness against oppression, self-respect, and human dignity. Nations that remain committed to justice, human values, and moral principles, he added, can never truly be defeated despite sanctions, pressure, or hardship.

Shri Swami Sarang described Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as one of the influential figures of the modern era, saying that he consistently emphasized human values, justice, and the dignity of nations. According to him, this is why people and intellectuals from different countries hold him in high regard.

He concluded by saying that he attended the ceremony not merely as a guest but to share in the grief of the Iranian people and express his solidarity with them.
