Police and CTD Operation in Bannu Leaves Four Suspected Militants Dead, Five Arrested

Shiite News: A joint operation by the Bannu Police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) resulted in the deaths of four suspected militants and the arrest of five others, according to security officials.

According to the report, police and CTD personnel carried out a coordinated operation in Baka Khel and surrounding areas of Bannu.

During the operation, four suspected militants were killed, while five others were taken into custody.

Authorities said they recovered two Kalashnikov rifles, one rifle, and additional weapons from those arrested.

Security sources alleged that the suspects were affiliated with the banned organization Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) and were involved in militant activities in the area.

Following the operation, security forces increased checkpoints and security measures across the region, while further operations remain underway.
