Jamia Al-Zahra Skardu Hosts ‘Conference Honoring Female Religious Preachers’

Shiite News: On Sunday, July 19, 2026, Jamia Al-Zahra, Khar Grong, Skardu, hosted the “Conference Honoring Female Religious Preachers” in a dignified and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The conference aimed to recognize the scholarly, missionary, and educational contributions of female religious preachers (Muballighat), encourage their continued efforts, and highlight their important role in promoting religious awareness within society.

The conference was chaired by Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Baqir Muqaddasi.

In his presidential address, he said that the responsibilities of female religious preachers have become more significant than ever in the present era.

He described knowledge, piety, sincerity, and insight as the essential qualities of a successful female preacher and urged women to utilize their academic and practical abilities to promote religious awareness, moral values, and Islamic culture in society.

The conference was also addressed by Syed Baqir Hussain Al-Hussaini, Hujjat-ul-Islam Sheikh Muhammad Ali Tawhidi, Sheikh Muhammad رضا Beheshti, Sheikh Muhammad Ali Muqaddasi, and Dr. Fida Hussain Abidi.

The speakers highlighted the importance of religious preaching, contemporary intellectual and social challenges, the religious upbringing of the younger generation, and the responsibilities of female preachers in light of the guidance and teachings of the Supreme Leader.

They emphasized that a knowledgeable and morally upright female preacher can play a key role in the intellectual and ethical reform of society.
