Sheikh Qais al-Khazali: All Iraqis Joined Martyred Leader’s Funeral Procession
All Segments of Iraqi Society Paid Tribute by Participating in the Martyred Leader’s Funeral: Sheikh Qais al-Khazali
Shiite News: Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, Secretary-General of Iraq’s Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, said that people from all segments of Iraqi society, different schools of thought, and religious communities participated in the funeral procession of the martyred Leader, Imam Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, to pay their respects.
Expressing his heartfelt condolences to the Muslim world and all freedom-loving people over what he described as a great tragedy, Sheikh al-Khazali said, “We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to all Muslims and to free people across the world over this immense loss.”

He added that all of Iraq—including Muslims, Christians, and Sabians; Arabs and Turkmens; and both Shia and Sunni communities—came together to bid farewell to the martyred Imam Khamenei and take part in his funeral procession.
In his statement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali said that the martyred Imam Khamenei was the clearest symbol and leading standard-bearer of truth in what he described as the decisive struggle between truth and falsehood, adding that God would make the truth prevail and bring falsehood to an end.
