Son of Imam Mahdi’s Biggest Enemy Delights in Iran Unrest
Shiite News: Moavia Azam, son of the notorious enemy of Imam Mahdi ﷺ, Azam Tariq, expressed joy over the ongoing protests in Iran, which are allegedly guided by US and Israeli intelligence.
In a Faisalabad program, he openly celebrated the unrest, claiming, “We are watching Tehran burn from Faisalabad,” while endorsing violence against Iranian authorities.
Shiite scholars emphasized that these protests, which involved arson, attacks on mosques, and the killing of 13 police officers, are instigated by foreign agendas and not genuine public dissent.
In contrast, Pakistan’s opposition has called for peaceful demonstrations on 8 February demanding the restoration of the constitution, parliamentary supremacy, and highlighting the theft of the public mandate, strictly avoiding any violence or damage to public property.
Prominent religious leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas stressed that citizens must participate in lawful and peaceful protests against tyranny, warning that supporting illegitimate violence aligns one with the path of oppressors like Yazid.
The recent unrest in Iran is largely a result of economic hardships caused by US-imposed sanctions since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and not due to any failure of the Iranian government, which had previously supported peaceful public demonstrations.
