Threats of terror attacks in Karachi during Muharram ul Haram: Report

Karachi: Some arrested terrorists revealed the plans for terrorism attacks in Karachi during Muharram ul Haram and secret agencies sent the report to senior officials.

According to the report of intelligence agencies, Lashkar e Jahangvi’s major commander Asif Chotu has formed three groups for carrying out attacks. One group, led by Asif Chotu himself, will target two sensitive locations in Korangi and religious gatherings in Orangi Town. The second group has been given the task for attacking religious scholars (Ulema) whereas the third group has been given the task of attacking eleven sensitive locations.

Asif Chotu’s name is on 17^th number in Police’s red book and there is also a prize money on his arrest.
