Urdu University Marks Youm-e-Hussain with Conference on Imam Hussain’s (A.S.) Spirit of Resistance

Shiite News: A grand intellectual conference titled “Qayam e Imam Hussain (AS) ka mazamati pehlu” was held on July 15th at the BSC Block of the Federal Jamia Urdu Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus under the auspices of the Imamia Students Organization Pakistan Karachi Division on the occasion of “Youm-e-Hussain (AS), in which a large number of scholars of different schools of thought, political and social leaders, teachers and students participated in full.

The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) and Manqabat and Noha were presented. On this occasion, famous and renowned Manqabbat and Noha Khawans Ahmed Raza Naseri and Shahid Baltistani, along with other Noha Khawans, students and scholars enlightened the participants with the message of Karbala through their speeches and speeches.

Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Deputy Chairman of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, specially participated and addressed the main address of the conference. He said that today, in the era of sectarianism and chaos, the message of Imam Hussain (AS) is a universal message of unity, resistance and joint struggle against oppression. Stressing the importance of inter-Muslim unity, he said that the Yazidi forces want to weaken Muslims by dividing them into sectarianism and hatred and they can only be countered by Hussaini thought and character.

Renowned Ahle Sunnat scholar Qazi Ahmed Noorani also addressed the program. He said that the struggle of Imam Hussain (AS) is the brightest example of standing firm against oppression and oppression for the entire humanity, and this message needs to be adopted practically even today.

Maulana Sadiq Raza Taqvi, the central official of the Imamiyya Mosque Ulema Council also spoke. He said that the uprising of Imam Hussain (AS) is not just an event in history but a declaration of rebellion against the Yazidi regime of every era.

Central leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Meraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui also spoke. He said that the struggle of Imam Hussain (AS) is not of any single sect or sect but is a universal example against oppression.

On this occasion, the speakers also expressed their views on the recent conflict between Iran and Israel. They said that Iran has put Israel in severe defensive difficulties with its steadfastness and resistance strategy.

The speakers paid tribute to the heroic role of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and said that in today’s world, the Supreme Leader is a practical example for the Muslim Ummah to support the oppressed and stand firm against oppressive forces.

The list of participants in the conference was also prominent. It was attended by members of units across Karachi, including ISO Karachi University Unit, ISO Abdul Haq Unit, students of Jamia Urdu, officials and workers of other student organizations, and a large number of teachers and staff of Jamia Urdu.

The General Secretary of Jafariya Organization Pakistan, Allama Tahir Mashhadi and former Divisional President Salman Hussaini also attended this event and appreciated this effort of unity and solidarity.

Registrar Sadia Khalil, former Registrar Dr. Samra Zameer, Chairperson of the Department of Botany, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas, Chairperson of the Department of Mathematics, Dr. Shaheen Abbas, Chairperson of Commerce, Dr. Saba Zahra, Assistant Professor of Physics, Dr. Masood Raza, Professor Dr. Ilyas Khaki (GC University, Hyderabad) and Sir Sadaqat Ali Ashtar, along with other teachers, also attended this grand conference of Youm-e-Hussain (AS) and endorsed this message of inter-Muslim unity and resistance thought.

The speakers and participants of this grand intellectual conference declared the thought of Imam Hussain (AS) as a beacon of light for the struggle against the oppression and corruption of the present era and exhorted the students to spread this message in the society. President ISO Jamia Urdu Muhammad Yunus concluded the event with the prayer of Imam of the Time (AS).
