MWM stage strong protests against Israeli aggression across the country

Shiite News: Nationwide protests were held against Israeli aggression against Iran under Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan. Protests were also held in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, including all four provinces, while a demonstration was held outside Imambargah Ithna Ashri, G-6/2 in the federal capital Islamabad.

A large number of scholars, women, children and citizens participated in the protest. The participants raised strong slogans against the Israeli aggression against Iran and against the United States and Israel.

Speaking at the protest, the President of the Ahl al-Bayt School of Scholars, Allama Seyyed Hassanain Abbas Gardezi, said:

“Israel is a terrorist state and a threat to world peace. It has engulfed the entire region in war, and this aggression involves the full support of America. The Islamic world must unite and confront these terrorist acts. America has left Israel like a mad dog in the region that is attacking everywhere. The reins of Israel are in America’s hands.”

Addressing the demonstration, Syed Zaheer Abbas Naqvi said:

“The Israeli attack on Iran under US patronage is a clear violation of international law, the UN Charter and the principles of state sovereignty. The Islamic world’s silence on this aggression is a moment of reflection. The need of the hour is for all Islamic countries to raise their voices against Israel’s aggressive intentions and provide diplomatic, moral and practical assistance to our brotherly Islamic and neighboring country, Iran, to the extent possible.”

Maulana Mustafa Haider said in his address to the protest:

“The global terrorist Israel and its patron, the US, have pushed the Middle East into unrest, destruction and the fire of war. This vile conspiracy is not only against Iran, but against every free and honorable Muslim country. We demand that the UN, OIC and the entire Muslim world take immediate notice of this cowardly aggression by Israel and take practical action.”
