Auqaf Department should stop encroaching Imam Bargah Shah Shams land, Aun Shamsi

Shiite News: Former Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi and former Commissioner Multan Aamir Khattak, directed for the renovation and other constructions at Darbar Hazrat Shah Shams.

But now the Auqaf Department is trying to spoil the environment by illegally interfering in the Imam Bargah adjacent to the Darbar.

Our forefathers had given a vast area to Hazrat Shah Shams from the income of which the expenses of the Bagah were met but the department tried to take over the area of the court at different times which caused problems.

Yesterday, once again, the Auqaf Department, tried to disrupt the peace by interfering in the affairs of the Imambargah.

We request the Multan Administration to stop the Auqaf Department from spreading unrest.

Allama Syed Iqtar Hussain Naqvi, Barrister Mohammad Usman Dogar, Syed Anees Mehdi General Secretary High Court Bar Multan, Fahim Gardezi Advocate, Makhdoom Syed Yusuf Haider Shamsi, Khuram Shehzad Anjuman Tajran Sarafa Bazar, Makhdoom Syed Hasan Raza Mashhadi participated in the meeting.
