Shiite News: Provincial Vice President Majlis Wahdat Muslim Balochistan Allama Ali Hasnain Hussaini expressed concern over the law and order situation in Alamdar Road and Hazara Town.

It has been said that the recent incidents in both the areas have raised questions on the performance of the police.

Instead of fulfilling their constitutional responsibilities, the police encouraging criminals.

The police authorities were not registering an FIR against the person who tortured a girl student of Girls College Golestan Town in the past few days.

Police officials were forced to fulfill their responsibility due to the strong reaction from the public. Similarly, yesterday in Hazara town, a young child was killed after being tortured. However, the police seems unable to arrest the criminals and bring them to justice.

These incidents have raised questions on the capacity and efficiency of the Quetta Police. The public does not feel safe, while the police prefer to avoid problems rather than perform their duties.

We demand the Home Department, IG Balochistan, DIG and concerned officers to take notice of the incidents of unrest and immediately direct the police to fulfill their responsibilities.

The police know very well what steps should be taken to restore peace in the area, but they are showing slowness in restoring peace.

The recent incidents have caused concern in the area, while the police and related agencies are failing to provide security to the public.
