Incident of stone pelting, firing on pilgrim buses happened
Shiite News: Millions of pilgrims from Pakistan travel to Najaf and Karbala on the occasion of Arbaeen Imam Hussain (AS).
Most of the pilgrims travel by road, having to enter Iran via Taftan from Quetta in Balochistan province or Rimdan border from Karachi.
This year, millions of pilgrims traveled to Karbala and Najaf on Arbaeen, who are now traveling back to Pakistan.
Last night, a convoy of pilgrims left Taftan for Quetta, which was heavily stoned and fired at on the way.
During the firing and stone pelting, windows of many pilgrims’ buses were broken and many pilgrims were also injured.
Balochistan government and law enforcement agencies should provide protection to pilgrims.
These extremist and religious terrorists should be made a lesson and an atmosphere of peace and order should be established in the country.
