17 of Pakistani pilgrims killed in the bus accident have been identified

Shiite News: Director General of the Forensic Department of Yazd Province Faribar Ayati told Mehr News reporter that after the arrival of operational teams at the accident site, the victims of the accident were taken to the hospital with the support of the General Directorate of Crisis Management and the Red Crescent.

He said that the cause of death was determined as well as the identity was confirmed at the post-mortem center of Yazd province, but due to the large number of dead bodies, the work of identifying the dead bodies of the martyrs and determining the causes of death was delayed. It started at four o’clock in the morning and is still going on.

He said that with the efforts of five forensic teams, 17 of the total 28 victims of the accident have been identified till now.

The Director General of the Forensic Department of Yazd Province said that 11 women and 17 men are among the 28 martyrs in this accident.
