Major Operation by CTD and Sensitive Agencies: Terrorists of Banned Sipah Sahaba and Banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Arrested

Shiite News: In Karachi, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and a federal sensitive agency, during a joint intelligence-based operation, have arrested 3 dangerous terrorists of takfiri and banned terrorist organizations. The accused were planning large-scale sabotage by targeting sensitive locations in the city.

According to the CTD spokesman, during the first operation, the forces nabbed 2 terrorists belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, while in the second successful operation, one active terrorist of the banned Sipah Sahaba was arrested.

The spokesman further stated that 2 hand grenades and 1 prepared improvised explosive device (IED) were recovered from the possession of the arrested takfiri terrorists. The timely action of the security forces has saved the city from a major disaster, while the scope of investigation has been expanded regarding other facilitators of the network from the arrested accused.
