Federal solution not possible in Cyprus, says Erdogan
July 20th marks a pivotal event in Cyprus’ history. It is the anniversary of Turkey’s military operation in Cyprus that led to the division of the Mediterranean island into two halves. Now, 50 years after, the Turkish president says a federal solution is not possible and a two state solution is the only option to resolve the conflict.
