Israel kills 37 Palestinians in Gaza in 24 hours
- Gaza’s Health Ministry says the Israeli military has killed 37 people and injured 54 others during the past 24 hours in the enclave, targeting family homes.
- Our colleague, Al Jazeera Arabic cameraman Mahmoud Ikee, has been injured following an Israeli attack on a residential tower in the Nuseirat refugee camp this morning.
- The number of journalists killed in Gaza has risen to 161 after the killing of journalist Muhammad Abu Jasser, his wife and their two children in their home in Jabalia, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office and our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic.
- At least 38,919 people have been killed and 89,622 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza. The death toll in Israel from Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is estimated at 1,139 with dozens of people still held captive in Gaza.
