President Putin urges restraint in call with Iran’s Raisi

During the call, Putin said he hoped all sides would show restraint following Iran’s weekend aerial attack on Israel, cautioning that a broader conflict would be “catastrohpic” for the region, according to the Kremlin.

Iran’s President Raisi, for his part, emphasised that Iran’s attacks on Israel had been limited and that Iran did not aim to further inflame tensions.
