Leader’s military aide: Saudi attacks on Yemen doomed to fail

Top Military Aide to Iran’s Leader Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi underscored that the Saudi-led attacks against Yemen will certainly have nothing for the aggressors.

“Saudi Arabia’s foolish military aggression against Yemen is doomed to failure,” Major General Rahim Safavi said on Thursday.

“Al Saud will not achieve its goals in the aggression against Yemen, and their aggressive and foolish move in the region will face utter failure,” he added.

Major General Rahim Safavi pointed to the incapability of the Saudi forces to engage in ground warfare against Yemen, and said, “If the Yemenis retaliate one day, nothing will remain of the corrupt regime of Al Saud.”
