“Youm-e-Hussain” banned in Karachi after Peshawar

Shiite News: After Peshawar, “Youm-e-Hussain”, Hussain Day was also banned in Karachi.

“Youm-e-Hussain” is organized every year in Abdul Haq Campus of Federal Urdu University under the auspices of ISO Pakistan, this year the university administration has decided to ban the program.
When the students protested, the university administration announced a public holiday in the university on “Youm-e-Hussain”.

The central spokesperson of Imamia Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan said that the ban on Hussain Day in the University of Karachi after Peshawar is a shameful act of colleges and universities in Karachi.
There is no ban on music concerts, but there is a ban on mourning the death of the Prophet’s grandson.

Ban on Hussain Day was imposed by University Administration in Peshawar, but the ban was lifted after protest by students.
