Allama Shafqat Sherazi calls on Sheikh Sadiq Nablusi

Shiite News: The head of Majlis-e-Ulema Imamia and foreign secretary MWM Dr. Syed Shafqat Hussain Shirazi met with son of late Ayatollah Sheikh Afif Nabulsi, Allama Sheikh Sadiq Nablusi, in Saida, Lebanon.

According to the report, Shafaqat Sherazi in the meeting offered his condolences to the son of the late Ayatollah Sheikh Afif on the death of his father died on 14 July 2023.

It should be noted that the late Ayatollah Nablusi was one of the close associates of the founder of Tehreek Amal Lebanon, Imam Musa al-Sadr, the former secretary general of Hezbollah Lebanon, Allama Shaheed Seyyed Abbas Al-Musawi and Sheikh Al-Islami Allama Shaheed Sheikh Raghib Harb.

It is worth mentioning that when Shaheed Allama Syed Abbas Mousavi was invited by Tehreek Jafaria Pakistan to participate in the Kashmir and Palestine International Conference in 1990 and he came to Islamabad, late Ayatollah Sheikh Afif Nabulsi was also with him.

The late Ayatollah Nablusi was also the Friday imam in Saida, Lebanon, and the head of the scholars’ board of Jabal A’mal.

In the meeting, the religious and resistance services of the late Ayatollah Nabulsi were appreciated along with the discussion on bilateral issues.
