MWM delegation calls on Iranian Consul General in Peshawar to discuss visa issues

Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Khyber Pakhtunkhwa delegation of Shia elders held an emergency meeting with Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran Peshawar Ali Banafsha Khawa in his office.

In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the difficulties and complaints faced by the visitors in issuing visas.

The Iranian Consul General listened to the grievances and difficulties presented by the delegation of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen and assured them to take immediate steps for redressal.

The delegation included Provincial President of the Ulama Ahl al-Bayt, Allama Ahmad Ali Rouhani, Provincial Secretary General MWM Shabir Hussain Sajdi, Peshawar District President Allama Syed Zaki Al Hasan Al Hussaini, Allama Syed Alam Shah Hussaini, Syed Abrar Jafari and Secretary General of the Imamia Council Syed Azhar Ali Shah were included.

After the meeting, the Consul General took the delegation on a tour of the visa section, where despite Sunday being a holiday, all the staff were present and were busy issuing visas till late night.

The delegation paid tribute to the Consul General and his team for taking extraordinary measures to facilitate the visitors on behalf of the Consulate and assured of their all possible cooperation.

The delegation thanked the Consul General for the assurance of taking immediate steps to resolve the issues.

The Iranian Consul General thanked the delegation for the timely guidance and expressed his devotion, called being always available to serve the pilgrims as a way for his later life.
