Two terrorists killed in North Waziristan IBO: ISPR

At least two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted on night between August 14 and 15 by the security forces on reported presence of terrorists in general area Razmak of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan sistrict, the military said.

During the conduct of operation, security forces surrounded the terrorists’ location and after intense fire exchange, “two terrorists were sent to hell”, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as extortion and target killing of innocent citizens, it said.

Sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism, said the military’s media wing.
