MWM urges govt to cancel license of K-Electric

Shiite News: Political Secretary of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Sindh province Syed Ali Hussain Naqvi has said in a statement issued by the media cell that K-Electric should not be imposed on the masses.

The people of the city are deprived of basic facilities like electricity. The people of Karachi, who pay the highest taxes, are buying the most expensive electricity in the country.

He said that the government and K Electric together are robbing the poor people with both hands. The city of lights has been plunged into darkness, K Electric Mafia’s license should not only be withheld from renewal but canceled outright.

In the overall situation of the city, various power generation companies should be given an opportunity to serve in the public interest.

He further said that to end the current electricity crisis in the city, different power generation companies should be given a chance by distributing the load.

People should be freed from expensive electricity and unnecessary taxes. The artificial crisis of energy in the city should be ended. The various power plants closed under a planned conspiracy.
