5235 Majalis, 650 Jaloos-e-Aza held in Lahore city

Shiite News: An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of DIG Operations Lahore Sohail Chaudhary.
In the meeting, arrangements regarding Muharram were reviewed. Shiite leaders, license holders, peace committee members including SSP Operations Mustansar Feroz, SP Security and other officers participated in the meeting.

DIG said that a total of 5 thousand 235 Majlis and 650 mourning processions will be organized in Lahore city, more than 9,000 officers and personnel will perform security duties from 1st of Muharram to the day of Ashura.
He said that organizers of Majlis and processions should cooperate with the police. He said that along with police, volunteers and scouts of imambargahs will also perform security duties.
The DIG said that the scouts and volunteers of Imambargahs will also be given special training in the police line.
