Ghadeer: finality of Prophethood, and mission continuity through Imamat, Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, head of the Shia Ulema Council (SUC) of Pakistan, says Ghadeer Day is a day to announce the finality of Prophethood and the continuity of the mission of Prophethood through Imamate.
A comprehensive mechanism and a system was created by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the Imamate for the implementation and publication of Islam, the manifestation of this great system is Ghadeer day, the location, time determination and the establishment of a specific pulpit are of extraordinary importance to convey the message of the Prophet to the people.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said on the occasion of 18 Dhul-Hijjah Day of Ghadeer that this day has special importance in the history of Islam, Allah Almighty has declared Islam as the perfect religion.

Prophet (PBUH) endured hardships and sufferings and announced the system of Wilayat and Imamate for the protection, understanding, implementation and dissemination of religion in the historical field of Ghadir-e-Khum.
He further said that the system of Wilayat and Imamat has a great role in conveying the message of the Prophet to the whole world, protecting, interpreting, implementing and broadcasting this divine message and regarding this role, Holy Prophet has a complete and comprehensive plan.

By determining the place of Ghadeer, determining the time, arranging and organizing and making special pulpit to convey the message to the people and announced in a specific way, this was the most unique and the biggest means of communication of that era. Through this divine message reached the entire Muslim Ummah.

Allama Sajid Naqvi further said that the perfect manifestation of the system of Wilayat and Imamate is the holy personality of Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.s.), who played an exemplary role as the successor of the Prophet in the understanding of religion.

In his special message to the people of Islam, he further said that in the blessed hours of Ghadir Day, we have to renew our pledge to make the life and character of Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS) a model for our individual and collective actions for the promotion and promotion of the religion of Islam.
