Iraqi forces kill 27 terrorists in northern Baghdad

On Monday, Baghdad Operations Command announced, that 27 terrorists have been killed and 162 explosives were removed in an extensive security operation in northern Baghdad.

Baghdad Operations Command said in a statement that “On the second day in a row, Iraqi troops of Baghdad Operations Command are advancing in an security operation to liberate the areas of al-Hawra, al-Buhairat and Tal-Tasa, located in northern Baghdad,” adding that, “Army forces have managed to kill 27 terrorists and remove 162 explosive devices, in addition to destroying a number of vehicles and motorcycles that belonged to the militants”, Iraqi news reports.
