ASWJ takfiri cleric arrested with illegal weapons in Islamabad

Notorious takfiri cleric of banned takfiri terrorist outfit was arrested with many fanatics and illegal arms and ammunition in Pakistan’s capital city of Islamabad on Thursday.

Deobandi but takfiri cleric Mufti Tanveer Alam Farooqi, President of the outlawed ASWJ (also known as ASS or LeJ), District Rawalpindi chapter was intercepted by a check post of Pakistan Rangers at Trimari (or Tramarhi) Chowk Islamabad. He was accompanied by 8 takfiris including a guard in civil clothes who claimed to be from police. Armed with heavy arms and ammunition, they were boarding a Pick up Double Cabin vehicle. Rangers’ cops said that Hasnaat son of Ibrahim was in civil cloths and said he was police guard of the takfiri cleric.

One submachine gun (SMG) with 2 magazines and 60 rounds, 2SMGs of 44 bore with 3 magazines and 68 rounds, one 12 bore repeater with 2 magazines and 5rounds, two 9mm pistols with 2 magazines and 22 rounds. All the takfiri fanatics were handed over to the Shahzad Town Police Station of Islamabad.
