Pakistan Army conducts tactical drills Jidar ul Hadeed in Thar Desert since 28th January 2021.

According to ISPR, the four weeks long defensive manoeuvre exercise aims at validating concept of defence in deserts.

Karachi Corps of Pakistan Army practice tactical drills and procedures under the “Jidar-ul-Hadeed” exercise.

Specially, they are conducting the exercise in extreme desert conditions, 74 kilometers ahead of Chhor, under conventional operations setting.

The exercise will culminate on 28th of this month.

Pakistan military leaders discuss emerging regional geo strategic environment

Meanwhile, Pakistan military leaders discussed emerging regional geo strategic environment during a meeting of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC).

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza presided over the meeting at the Joint Staff Headquarters.

Furthermore, the forum discussed the emerging regional geo-strategic environment.

Specially, the military leadership discussed the fast-paced developments in the realm of strategic and conventional policies or doctrines.

Besides, they also discussed operational preparedness of the armed forces.

Those attended the meeting included: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.

Moreover, senior officers from Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Defence Production and three services of the armed forces also attended.
