According to counterterrorism department’s spokesman, the CTD conducted a joint operation in Shah Latif Town Karachi.

The terrorists threw a hand grenade on the armored vehicle of the CTD personnel during the CTD operation.

Besides, they subsequently began firing that evoked retaliatory firing from CTD-rangers.

Finally, firing of the latter left one terrorist dead. Moreover, they arrested five terrorists.

They also seized explosive material, suicide jackets and a rickshaw laden with explosive material from the arrested terrorist.
