Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid talks with Quetta sit in protesters failed, according to the reports from the scene.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had assigned Federal Interior Minister to hold talks with the families of the martyred Hazara Shia coalminers.

He rushed to Quetta and reached the Western Bypass to express sympathy with the protesters.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri also accompanied him during the meeting.
Sheikh Rashid condemned the massacre and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families.
Moreover, he requested them to bury the martyrs and come to Islamabad for meeting with Prime Minister at the time of their choice.
The families and their representatives Allama Syed Hashim Mousavi and former MPA Agha Syed Mohammad Raza heard the minister’s proposals.
But the families disagreed with the interior minister’s suggestions. They reiterated their demand Prime Minister Imran Khan should arrive at the sit-in protest camp.
Till the filing of this report, they continued their protest sit-in.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed chaired a meeting in Quetta tonight.
During the meeting, he termed the terror incident occurred in Mach yesterday as an extremely sad incident.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri, Provincial Home Minister Ziaullah Lango and other officials attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, Provincial Chief Secretary Fazeel Asghar and Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Fayyaz Hussain Shah briefed the Interior Minister about massacre in Mach.
