Shia Islamic parties leaders pay tribute to founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on the occasion of 145th birthday.
Shia Ulema Council (SUC) and Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) leaders issued separate statements to mark the birth anniversary.
Veteran Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi of SUC lauded the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam.

He said that he gave political direction to the Muslims of the subcontinent for self-reliance and self-governance.
Finally, he led struggle and attained independent sovereign nation-state.
Allama Sajid further said that Mr. Jinnah asserted Muslim identity and non-interference of State into religious matters of citizens.
Hence, he urged the state authorities to follow ideals of Jinnah.
Meanwhile, MWM Pakistan secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari said that Quaid-e-Azam never compromised principles.
Therefor, he said nation and the state authorities ought to reiterate pledge to follow Mr. Jinnah’s principles.
Moreover, Allama Raja Nasir lamented efforts aimed at usurping national honour, sovereignty and independence.
He further urged all to turn down internal and external pressure and meddling and stand by ideology of Jinnah’s Pakistan.
