17 more takfiri militants killed in operation Zarb-e-Azb

Pakistani armed forces Tuesday carried out renewed airstrikes in tribal North Waziristan agency killing at least 17 takfiri militants of Daesh-allied Taliban and splinter groups.

The Inter-Services Public Relations said that airstrikes early this morning in which some foreign militants were killed as well.

Pakistan Army launched operation Zarb-e-Azb in June this year against Taliban militants in North Waziristan agency bordering Afghanistan. Over 1,000 militants have so far been killed in the military offensive.
