Syrian President issues decree of holding 1st new parliament session

Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad issued the decree of convening the third round of the country’s parliament, Majlis al-Shab, on the coming Monday, August 10.
On July 30, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad announced the names of the elected members of the third parliamentary term.
The new Syrian parliament has 250 members. The election has so far been delayed twice due to the corona outbreak in Syria.
