Residents of Shia majority area of Karachi’s district central on Thursday foiled a bid of takfiri nasbi terrorists to kill a Shia shop owner whose brother they had murdered some months ago.

Takfiri nasbi terrorists of proscribed outfit ASWJ (Sipah-e-Sahaba) arrived at the shop in Federal B Area Block 17 in front of Block 20 and took out their pistols but the shop owner shouted and cried for help. Due to noise, relatives of the shop owner and residents of the area rushed to the spot and overpowered 2 terrorists while one of their accomplices managed to flee.

The residents thrashed them severely and also recorded their video before handing them over to police and rangers. One of the terrorists was identified as Imran. He said he is resident of Liaquatabad.
