Renowned scholar Ali Murtaza Zaidi behind the bars for no crime

Eminent Islamic scholar Syed Ali Murtaza Zaidi has been put behind the bars for no crime.

Eminent Islamic scholar Allama Syed Ali Murtaza Zaidi has been put behind the bars because his opponents have named him in a false case.

The rival party had filed a case against governing body of Al-Mohsin Trust over a dispute. The former had run the Trust in past. However, eminent Shia Islamic scholar had no affiliation with that Trust under any capacity.

The two parties had a dispute. The latter had got control due to poor performance of the former. Despite that, the latter lost the case.

Shia Muslims have expressed concern over Allama Ali Murtaza Zaidi’s arrest and detention.
