Israeli UAVs Carry Out Extensive Flights Above Western Syria’s Daraa

Israeli drones carried out extensive flight missions over the skies of towns and villages in the Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa province, local Syrian sources reported, as Israeli regime’s military activity continues across parts of southern Syria.

According to the sources, Israeli drones flew extensively over residential areas and villages in the Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa.

The reports did not clarify whether the drone activity was limited to surveillance missions or whether Israeli forces carried out strikes against targets in the area.

Meanwhile, Daraa and Quneitra provinces have repeatedly witnessed flights by Israeli reconnaissance aircraft and fighter jets.

Israeli forces intensified their military operations in Syrian territory in July through repeated rounds of artillery fire and gunfire on populated areas and farmlands, as well as strikes by drones. This coincided with ongoing incursions and military movements along the border strip.

Meanwhile, no action has been taken to end these violations that threaten the region’s residents and undermine stability in south Syria.

In recent months, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented Israeli violations in rural areas of Daraa and Quneitra, including the entry of Israeli forces into the village of Koya and the Unity Dam area, reaching approximately 9 kilometers inside Syrian territory.
