Muharram Observances Flourish Across Africa with Enthusiastic Majlis Commemorating Imam Hussain (AS)

Shiite News: With the sighting of the Muharram moon, various African countries have begun organizing mourning gatherings (Majalis), speeches, and religious programs to commemorate Imam Hussain (AS) and the events of Karbala. Across cities and villages, believers and lovers of Ahlul Bayt (AS) are participating with devotion, sincerity, and enthusiasm in Muharram gatherings, spreading the message of Imam Hussain (AS).

Nigeria: Continuous Majalis in Kano

In Kano State, Majalis have been held continuously since the beginning of Muharram. Sheikh Muhammad Jameel and Sheikh Suleiman Ayub delivered speeches highlighting Imam Hussain’s (AS) sacrifice, reform of the Ummah, unity, justice, and steadfastness against oppression.

Malawi: Inspiring Gatherings in Kota Kota
