Allama Dr. Shabbir Hassan Maysami’s Important Address on the Baqiatullah Tragedy, Warns Government

Shiite News: The Secretary General of the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan and Chairman of the Masjid Baqiatullah Committee, Defence Karachi, Allama Dr. Shabbir Hassan Maysami, delivered an important press conference regarding the Baqiatullah tragedy during the sixth Majlis-e-Aza of Muharram 1448 AH.

The press conference was also attended by preacher Hujjat-ul-Islam Allama Syed Shehenshah Hussain Naqvi, Sindh Provincial President Allama Asad Iqbal Zaidi, Committee President Irfan Mehdi, and several other political and social figures.

Allama Dr. Shabbir Hassan Maysami expressed serious concern over recent obstacles and restrictions faced by mourners during the commemoration of Sayyid al-Shuhada Imam Hussain (AS) across Pakistan, particularly in the province of Punjab. He warned the Government of Pakistan that difficulties and barriers created during Azadari are condemnable and require immediate attention from the authorities.

He further stated that Qaed-e-Millat-e-Jafaria Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has always taught the importance of maintaining peace and harmony, and that they remain committed to following this mission.

Referring to the recent Karachi tragedy in which a young girl lost her life, Allama Maysami said that the funeral of an innocent child had taken place in Karachi that very day. However, he emphasized that they are patriotic Pakistanis who always use Azadari as a means to promote national stability, unity, and peace.
