Renowned scholar Allama Syed Shahenshah Naqvi has warned that sit in protest against enforced disappearance of Shia Muslims to be expanded to all parts of the country soon, if government fails to meet the legitimate demands of protesting families from Karachi.
He said this, addressing the sit-in protest being held outside the house of President Dr Arif Alvi in Karachi that is also enjoying status of presidential camp office nowadays.

Missing Persons Protest Committee
The protesting families have formed a seven-member committee to take a final decision on the countrywide sit-in protest. They took four members from the affected families and Rashid Rizvi, Hassan Raza Sohail Raza and Saghir Abid as the committee members.
Allama Shahenshah said that on one hand, terrorists massacre Shia Muslims from Hazara community in Quetta and on the other agencies launch crackdown on peaceful Shia community in Karachi.
Government failed to address Shia grievances
Allama Shahenshah said government failed to address grievances being faced by Shia Muslims in Pakistan.
He said peaceful and patriot Shia community of Pakistan will not tolerate discrimination and oppression.
“We know who has picked up Shia youths. Hence, we demand President Dr Arif Alvi also include their representatives too in talks with the affected families,” he said.
Shia grievances in Pakistan
Pakistan has a sizeable population of Shia Muslims that make around 20 to 25 percent of total Pakistani population.
However, takfiri terrorists who share sectarian ideology of official sect of Saudi monarchy impose war on Pakistan, including Shia genocide. The terrorists also target Sunni Muslims who too don’t agree with Saudi intolerant Wahhabism.
