President, Prime Minister directly responsible for Shia missing persons issue: MWM


President and Prime Minister of Pakistan are directly responsible for Shia missing persons issue, said a leader of MWM.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen deputy secretary general Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi said this, speaking at sit-in protest outside President Arif Alvi house in Karachi.
MWM leader condemned the terrorism and discrimination which Shia Muslims have suffered during last 4 decades in Pakistan.

He urged President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan tto pay attention to ensue release of innocent Shia Muslims.
Allama Ahmed Iqbal denounced the rulers for not meeting the legitimate demands of families of the missing Shias.
He said the protesters at sit-in include nonagenarian, octogenarian and septuagenarians also. Youth children and all age group people are staging protest sit-in. But rulers had not taken any action so far to meet their legitimate demand.

Shias must not be punished for patriortism
He said Shias havd gone gainst the state, they never attacked security forces and they never went against the ideology of Pakistan.
He said enforced disappearance of these loyal sons of Pakistan must end. Government must not punish them for their patriotism, peace-loving mindset, he said.
