Pakistan-wide protest rallies against Shia killing in Dera Ismail Khan

The rallies and demonstrations were held across Pakistan to condemn and protest the targeted killing of Shia Muslims in Dera Ismail Khan. The supporters largely attended the protest rallies yesterday on a call from Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen leadership. The protesters also condemned terror attack on New Zealand mosque.

In Karachi, main demo was staged in front of Khoja Isna Ashari Jamey Masjid Kharadar, after Friday prayers. Similar protest rallies were reported from Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Matli, Jamshoro, Matiari, Tando Allah Yar, Naushehro Feroze, Khairpur, Kashmore, Jacobabad, Multan, Quetta, Lahore, Islamabad/Pindi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kohat, DI Khan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi, Allama Maqsood Domki, Allama Hashim Mousavi, Allama Iqtidar Hussain Naqvi, Allama Dost Ali Saeedi, Allama Mubashir, Allama Ali Anwar, Abdul Hussain Shah, Irshad Hussain, Munawar Jafari, Mir Faiq Jakhrani, Allama Nishan Haider and other leaders of MWM addressed he protest rallies.
They condemned the unabated targeted killing of innocent Shia Muslims in Dera Ismail Khan. They said that PTI government too failed to control takfiri terrorism. They said people had pinned high hope in the PTI government but it too dashed their hope.
They demanded of the Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of the Army Staff to take notice of the terror attacks on Shia Muslims in DI Khan. They said they would have to begin a non-stop protest movement if the terrorists are not annihilated.
