Pakistanis largely visit Iranian stall at Foreign Ministry Charity Bazaar

The Iranian stall established at the Pakistan’s foreign ministry charity bazaar drew a large number of people because of display of rich Iranian culture and delicious cuisine. Foreign ambassadors, diplomats, Pakistani officials and citizens were among the visitors of the Iranian stall. The visitors praised the rich Iranian culture and enjoyed the traditional Iranian food.

The event was organized by Pakistan Foreign Office Women’s Association (PFOWA) bringing together a vast mix of cultural diversity from different countries.
Pakistan’s first Lady, Samina Alvi inaugurated the charity bazaar at the premises of Foreign Affairs Ministry. She added that the PFOWA charity bazaar was a good opportunity for diplomats from different countries to learn about each other’s cultures.
The bazaar showcased traditional artifacts of countries including Iran, China, Russia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Egypt, Bangladesh, Japan, Central Asian states, Malaysia, Portugal, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Yemen.
Pakistan Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua, foreign ambassadors, diplomats and prominent personalities of different countries were also present on the occasion.
The Iranian stall was set up by Iranian embassy and cultural consulate in Islamabad. The stall displayed photographs of Iran’s tourist attraction, handicrafts, pistachio, gaz candy, saffron, and delicious Iranian cuisine.
