Malik Riaz of Bahria Town extends sincere apologies to Shia Muslims

Malik Riaz, Chairman of Bahria Town project, has apologized all lovers of Ahl-e-Bayt, particularly Shia Muslims over unintentional removal of an alam pak (sacred flag attributed to Hazrat Abbas Alamdar) in Bahria Town Karachi, saying love for Ahl-e-Bayt is part of Iman (faith).

He tweeted his feelings that he was disturbed to know it. He clarified that Imam Bargahs were constructed in Bahria Town in Lahore and Rawalpindi and more being built in Bahria Town Karachi.
Malik Riaz extended sincere apologies to all those hurt by said unintentional act.
The alam was installed in the house of Mehmood Akhtar Naqvi and that was removed by Bahria Town staff using machinery that has evoked instant reaction from lovers of Ahl-e-Bayt of Prophet of Islam, particularly Shia Muslims because it is deemed desecration to remove the sacred flag (alam pak) that is fluttered in commemoration of the flag-bearing commander of Imam Hussain-led small army of 72 in Karbala.
