Shia social worker handed over to police after long enforced disappearance

Karachi-based Shia social worker who had gone missing from I I Chundrigar Road around 18 months ago, has been handed over to police.

Arif Jafari was believed to have been subjected to enforced disappearance as he remained disappeared for more than 18 months and now Darakhshan Police contacted his family to show his arrest.
Amazingly, he was implicated in a case under section 13-D.
Many Shia social workers, scholars and notables have been subjected to enforced disappearance.
