Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s political affairs secretary Syed Asad Abbas, has asserted the MWM would actively participate in Elections 2018 to block the forces who are pushing Pakistan to destruction.
He made this pledge addressing the central consultative body’s 3-day moot where he also made clear that his party believed in rule of law and struggling to that people get justice.
“We believe in the politics of values and not politics for the sake of power,” he said, adding that MWM opposed all oppressors and backed all oppressed people.
Asad Abbas demanded Election Commission Pakistan to impose ban on all those banned terrorist outfits who are working under new names and they must not be allowed to contest general elections under any name.
MWM political affairs head further said that MWM was working on two-pronged strategy and one of which was to make alliance and adjustments with the moderate patriot political parties who could make Pakistan a welfare state in accordance with the ideology of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal.
