Sit-ins end after Govt allows to hold Labbaik Ya Rasoolullah (PBUH) ConferenceHours-long sit-ins ended after Sindh Chief Minister accepted the demand to hold Labbaik Ya Rasoolullah (PBUH) Conference at Mumtaz Stadium Khairpur being held today.

Shia Muslims began staging sit-in across Pakistan on Saturday evening after Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, head of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Sahibzada Hamid Raza of Sunni Ittehad Council and Senator Faisal Raza Abedi of Voice of Martyrs of Pakistan staged a sit-in at Babbar Lo area of Khairpur.

Women and children along with male members of their families had come out of streets and staged sit-in from Karachi to Skardu (Gilgit-Baltistan) jamming the government. Shiites also began sit-in at C M House in Khairpur and finally Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and his aides started holding talks and nightlong talks they agreed to give permission to anti-Taliban Conference.

It is also relevant to add here that Sindh Government had launched a crackdown on anti-Taliban Sunni and Shiites and Taliban affiliate Sipah-e-Sahaba attacked Hindu temple in Larkana because the government was patronizing them.
