MWM observes protest day against the terrorist attack in Peshawar

20140207 161942Shia Muslims observe Friday as a day of protest against the terrorist attack in Peshawar that left many Shiites martyred on Tuesday night.
Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Peshawar and Jundullah both outlawed terrorist groups claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack on Shiites.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s secretary general, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, called for observance of protest day on Friday and the supporters of the MWM registered their protest in countrywide rallies and demonstrations.

In Karachi, main demonstration was held outside of Karachi Press Club after Friday prayers. The supporters were raising slogans against the terrorists and pro-terrorist politicians. They denounced the PMLN government for its policy of talks instead of military operation to eliminate the terrorists.

The MWM officials Mubashir Hassan, Ali Hussain Naqvi, Allama Ali Irfan Abidi, Allama Salman Hussaini and Shabbir Hussain spoke to the protestors. They held the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI)-led government responsible for the terrorist attack near Imam Bargah Abbas Alamdar (AS) in Peshawar saying that the PTI and its coalition partners always supported the TTP.

They said that the TTP’s Shariah has nothing to do with the Shariah (Islamic laws) introduced by Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH). As a matter of fact, they said, the TTP terrorists were invented by the American CIA and Zionist Israeli Mossad and they are perpetrating terrorism as a proxy to said foreign imperialism.

They vowed that Pakistani nation would never bow to the terrorists be they are clean-shaved Taliban or bearded ones. They said that the terrorists should not be legitimized through the policy of talks. They demanded the PMLN government to shoulder its Constitutional responsibility because no private militia is allowed under the Constitution that requires the citizens to remain loyal to the State and obey inviolably the Constitution. They said that talks with the TTP are unconstitutional therefore Parliament and Judiciary must come forward to defend and interpret the Constitution in order to deter the rulers from the Unconstitutional talks.
